The Guardians of the Galaxy(GOTG) volume three flew into theaters on Friday, May, 5 being one of the best movies to come out after Avengers: Endgame.

This movie has a run time of two hours and 29 minutes and is filled with an emotional back story of one of the main characters: Rocket. The cast came back together to make one last movie to end the almost ten-year trilogy.

GOTG was one of the most emotional movies that have been released. Not only did it have its typical humor from everyone, but it also had many triggering subjects presented in it. The back story of Rocket did include visible animal abuse and how he overcame it.

Gamora came back from the past with a different character arc than we are used to. She went on a new path after Avengers: Endgame, this includes not remembering anything she and Star-Lord went through in the past. During the movie, we witness Star-Lords struggle with this and how he coped through it.

A character that was first introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy volume two finally came into play. Adam the supposed warlock from the Soverign came to work for the main villain in the story. This character definitely was on the more comical side than the villainous side during the movie.

The main villain of this story was the High Evolutionary. This villain made it his mission to find and torture Rocket. He was a very powerful and very educated character that wanted to start a “perfect” world in the universe. With this in play, it made for a stressful and exhilarating ride for all Marvel fans to go through. This movie will make you go from start to end on an emotional roller coaster.

Guardians of the Galaxy volume three is one of the best Marvel movies to be released. This movie had an emotional end to it, but it closed the trilogy out well. I can't wait to see what happens with the Guardians of the Galaxy next.
