The McNary front office will not be taking or delivering any items or messages for students Feb. 14, 2024 unless there is an emergency.

If you have left something at home, it will be held in the office to be picked up after class, during lunch, or after school. Otherwise, the front office will not be accepting personal items such as flowers, balloons, and other Valentine’s items. Items from outside delivery services like Uber Eats or Grubhub will also not be accepted.

Office Manager Ms. Korrine Jackson said that this policy is to prevent disruptions in class. Another reason this is a policy is for student safety and comfort. “We don’t know who we’re accepting gifts from,” Ms. Jackson said.

 Ms. Jackson said it has been a rule to not accept outside gifts and messages for years. “It’s actually a district policy,” Ms. Jackson said.
