Senior volleyball player, Bella Rodriguez, has been playing since 2016. She originally started playing club volleyball in 6th grade.

 She believes Teamwork and working well with others is her biggest strength. Whenever her team has a tough game overcoming obstacles can be a struggle, but they push through.

Rodriguez's favorite part of the sport are the bonds she creates with the coaches and her teammates.

”It's like sister bonding,” Rodriguez said.

‍

No matter what sport you do, you most likely have an opponent. In this case, Rodriguez said Sprague would probably be their biggest opponent because, “it has a lot of strong players”.

McNary's varsity volleyball team has big goals. Rodriguez and her team hopes for top 5 in the state.

Something many athletes may fear is ever losing motivation for a sport they've done or been doing. Rodriguez has experienced lost motivation for volleyball but was able to rely on her coaches and the people around her.

“It feels like being in a big family,” she said.
