As the 2022-2023 school year starts off strong, so does the not-so-new art club.

Since 1-1-1 clubs came to an end last spring, the rise of an old art club hosted by Mr.Kohley in room 153 has made a seemingly sturdy comeback. 

‍

The art club and its students look to focus on creating art murals around McNary and to meet every Monday from 3:25-4:00.

‍

 One of the projects already started is a multicultural piece that's being painted in the cafeteria. As well as a mural being painted above room 287 that has been described as “having something to do with the outdoors.”

‍

"I'm excited but also kind of nervous," McNary sophomore Molly Bannister said in reguards to her membership in the art club.

‍

Besides the two that are currently being worked on, they are also hoping to be able to create new and bigger projects all around the school.
