McNary homecoming game blowout for South Salem

The mighty Celtics have been defeated by the Saxons with the score being zero to 62.

McNary students filled the stands with their pride by wearing blue.South Salem filled the visitor stands with bright neon to show their school spirit. There was a broadcast of the game over KYNK.com radio.

Freshman Bailee Hart from South Salem said she believes that the Saxons would win. 

Assistant principal Mr. Dan Borresen didn't want to predict the outcome of the game so he said, " Go Celtics!".

The first quarter ended with the Celtics having zero points and the Saxons have 21. The second quarter finished with zero to 42.

McNary strong safety number 16, senior Bradley Fryman got a light hit in the first quarter and went down. “I felt the crunch in my knee and I went down and had to be taken off the field by Astley and the trainer,” he said.

Fryman was out for the rest of the game, and on Monday the 9, he said he would be out for the rest of the season.

Fortunately for Fryman, he was crowned homecoming king at halftime. However, he was unable to stand on the stage because he was immobile and on crutches. “Homecoming king kind of made up for it,” he said.

At halftime, the homecoming court walked across the field and the homecoming king and queen were announced. Homecoming king is Bradley Fryman and the homecoming queen is Kelsey Jarnagin.

By the third quarter, it was zero to 56 and the final score for the homecoming football game being zero to 62.
