Every year during Feb 6-10, counselors week gets celebrated in all schools. It's a national celebration to appreciate and show recognition to counselors that work for kindergarten up to grade 12.

It's tricky for our McNary counselors to enjoy their week because it's during the time second semester starts, and they're always pretty busy changing schedules and other stuff.

A way our McNary staff show appreciation to our counselors is by putting up posters and giving stickers out. Not only that, but staff members and leadership students do stuff for them to show appreciation, like Mr. Kelly, he likes to treat our counselors by treating them with coffee.
