2023 Senior Portraits

The 2022 McNary Claymore Yearbook will need your senior picture. Senior pictures will be due on Friday, January 9, 2023.

To submit your photo, either you or you photographer will need to upload your electronic photograph to: hjeshare.com

The school code will be: mcnaryhighscho
Your electronic photo should be at least several MB in memory. Your professional photographer will most likely give you file sizes that will be big enough to reproduce well.

The preferred file type is jpeg, or jpg. Do not submit HEIC files.

Photographs should be vertical in orientation. Horizontal photos will be cropped to vertical.

A head and shoulder shot is preferred. Full body shots are fine.

Photos need to conform to community standards. We have the right to reject a photo and ask for another

Names in the yearbook

The yearbook adviser and staff believe a student has a right to have their preferred name appear in the book, for it is not a legal document and is instead a keepsake of their high school years.

If the student contacts the yearbook adviser directly and early enough in the year, the effort will be made to get the preferred name in the book. This is not an invitation to print nicknames, but rather to reflect preferences with family changes, self identity, or other reasons of serious concern.

A word about our publishing process: Your school photo will be labeled with the name that the school district has on file. We flow this name directly from the district’s data into our yearbook software. We use the data file that is available to us when we submit your picture to the publishing plant, which is usually early in the school year. If your name is changed after it is sent to the plant, the original name will appear in the yearbook. We apologize for this; however, the printing schedules must be kept and the price to reprint is prohibitive.

Past Yearbooks

The McNary Yearbook Staff takes pride in preserving the yearbooks of the past, as they are historical documents with great intrinsic value. With that in mind, we want to keep the past yearbooks as available as possible.

Past McNary yearbooks are kept in three places at McNary High School:
- One or two copies of each yearbook dating back to the first graduating class of 1966 are kept in our records vault for safekeeping. They are not available for viewing.

- Two copies of each yearbook are available for on-site viewing in our library. Ask the librarian for the yearbook you are interested in viewing. No staff or students are available for photocopying pages.

- Surplus copies are kept in the building, and many are available for sale. No books for 1975 are available for sale. All older books will be sold at the current yearbook price. This money goes to the yearbook class for producing the next yearbook and supplies.
