This Monday November 22 one of our own Mcnary students, Talia Medlin, is performing with a student from South Salem High School, Sam Welborn, at Taproot Lounge & Cafe.

"I am so excited to share what I'm passionate about with other people," said Medlin. 

The performance will consist of different songs from musicals such as The Great Comet, Hair, Little Shop of Horrors, and much more. It will contain some comedic pieces as well as somber ballads.

"Even if you don't like musicals I think this performance will be very entertaining," said Welborn. 

It will feature Laura Kilip, a local music teacher who teaches here in Keizer at Uptown Music, and their accompanist Kent Wilson, a music teacher at Salem Academy.
