In the geometry and construction class, taught by Mr. Bill Kirkwood and Mr. Bob Robison, the students were using a line leader, string line, plumb bob, and tape measure to find the slope of ramps, stairs, and railings in the hallways of McNary.

“We do this because there are building codes that require the ramps to be a certain grade or steepness,” Kirkwood said.

Students were working well together, according to class member Tony Bravo. Class was “pretty good, we're all working good," he said.
