Another Season of McNary Boys Basketball is in the books and boy what a rollercoaster ride it was.

The Celts went 10-14 this season, and won their last game against the South Salem Saxons when it ended at 54-42.

11th year Veteran Coach Mr. Ryan Kirch, said there was a definite turning point of the season,¨Right when we got to the New Year and we had it was probably just a landmark standpoint but it coincided with people returning from injury and illness or guys who were injured reaching for recovery so right at that point it was when all of those things kind of happened all at once.¨

Tyler Copeland, 4 man, post guard and 2nd Team All League player, has been playing basketball for roughly 12 years . His thoughts on the turning point of the season was,¨ after the Capital City Classic (CCC) when we won our first three games with Coach Keeker.¨

At that tournament, the Celts went 2-2 winning against Corvallis and Jefferson, and a another game after the tournament against Lakeridge. Kirch was out due to Covid-19 precautions. McNary's best win was against McKay 73-20 Brian Dougall.
