Last game for boys tennis

After they had attempted a comeback, McNary tennis lost with a score of 0-8. There had been three games so far in this season with only one win.

“the new tennis courts definitely make tennis more exciting and fun to have their own separate area.” said Marc McAvoy, McNary tennis coach.

West Albany pursued a strong tennis program proving with their win. “After quarantine the tennis team is much more appreciative to play together.” Erik Ihde, West Albany tennis coach said.

“It is harder to recruit kids with them all having jobs and busy schedules from all the freetime quarantine has provided high schoolers.” said Idhe.

Tennis continued to be a new sport for most kids as well as a new challenge. Even though it is just a massive version of ping pong with lots of extra rules, tennis players like Joey Oglesby mentioned the game as “good-natured, but spirited.”

“McNary’s students usually always come back the next year.” McAvoy, McNary tennis coach  said.
