McNary's Varsity Football team faced off against South Salem High School last friday on home turf.

 It was a really close game with South barely winning by a score being 44-43. Aron Montoya, number 25 a receiver for the Varsity Football team also a safety, scored last quarter to almost tie the game, “ It wasn't the outcome we were hoping for but at least we had fun and got to play with our seniors one last time.¨ he said 

 Dakota Danugan, running back for the team number 24 added “Coach Avinen, is always there to lift us up and is always real with us”.
