Ending the school year later than usual

Past years in the school year have always been shorter than this upcoming ending school year.

This school year was filled with many new challenging and unfamiliar ways of dealing with obstacles.

“It's a little frustrating, but I understand the circumstances since we only have been coming to

school twice a week” said Damian Hernandez, a junior at McNary high school.

The school calendar was forced to add days due to the fact that ice storms during winter took down electricity for a lot of families. Making it impossible to attend online classes.

Rudy Garcia, also a junior at McNary Highschool added, "I would have rather had school during the winter storm than take more days to finish school if I knew we would get out of school later”.
