All Celtics now attend an AVID demonstration school
McNary High School is now a national AVID demonstration school after seven years of efforts, making it the first in the state of Oregon to hold such a distinction.
After years of touting how McNary is “bold enough to be the best,” and “world class,” principal Mr. Erik Jesperson can back up that claim with this solid achievement. The whole staff was invited to the school’s library yesterday to hear exciting news about the AVID program. Superintendent of Salem Keizer schools Mrs. Christy Perry visited McNary High School yesterday to congratulate McNary.
