2012-10-05 AES Engineers Scholarship The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. To be eligible the student needs to answer one of the essay questions that they will find on our website. Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. This is a $500 scholarship. Website
2013-02-01 Alan Forthan Memorial Scholarship Alan Forthan Memorial Scholarship is for Oregon Students from families impacted by addiction is awarded to a senior affected by addiction anywhere in the state of Oregon. One $4,000 scholarship will be allocated in $1,000 installments over four years and several other scholarships of various amounts will be awarded. (2012 $40,500 in scholarships to Seniors from Oregon High Schools awarded). Scholarship awards will be based on the students response to each of 5 questions or statements and their financial need. Describe some of the solutions to this problem within your school community. (1.5 pages) 2) In terms of the United States, reflect on class and race differences in relationship to alcohol and drug addiction. (1 page) 3) Describe your involvement in community service and the impact of your service. (1 page) 4) Please describe any income barriers you face to your higher education. 2013-04-12 Keizer Rotary - Scenic Farms Business/Agriculture Scholarship A $500 scholarship available to any graduating senior from McNary with a minimum 2.5 GPA and a plan to pursue a business or agriculutre career. Applicants will be judged based on financial need, involvement in community activities, and general education plans/goals.
2013-04-12 Keizer Rotary - Vision Clinic Scholarship A $500 scholarship given to any McNary senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA and who is planning on entering the medical field at a two or four year college. Applicants will be selected based on financial need, an interview, leadership and community involvement, and SAT/GPA. Applications attached or available in the Connection Center.
2012-12-01 Kelsy Oldham Memorial Scholarship One award for a high school senior boy, and one award for high school senior girl who have demonsrated outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, and running. These individuals should be team players who have participated in either cross country, track and field, or in a running related activity. Website
2013-05-01 KSAS Senior Center Scholarship A $2,000 scholarship for a graduating senior who will be continuing their education in the Fall. The applicant mush be a child, grandchild, or other relative of a member of KSAS. You must pick up the application at the KSAS front desk. Application information is attached.
2013-03-15 LaVelle Mullennex Memorial Scholarship Award A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior, in need of financial assistance, that is preparing for a career as a non-attourney legal support staff. 2013-04-26 Lucille Middleton Scholarship $500 one time non-renewable award. It is open to any McNary High School graduating senior who might choose a career in teaching. 2013-04-01 McNary Fine Arts Scholarship This scholarship fund was established by the McNary Fine Arts Department to support the students who help make the program a success and are pursuing higher education. It is NOT a requirment to be pursuing an Arts degree to be eligible. One $500.00 non-renewable scholarship from each Fine Arts area of study will be awarded. Must be a graduating senior of McNary and from a Fine Arts Department program, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Must be planning to enroll in a full-time, undergraduate course of study at an eligible institution.
