The Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps ( AFJROTC) had a competition on January 23. The competition is where other JROTC units compete against each other, while being judged by real military personnel and some college ROTC Cadets. The schools have teams that compete. The teams are: air rifle, armed drill team, unarmed drill team, drill color guard, and physical training (PT.) All the teams compete on Saturday. At the end of Saturday, the different teams find out what place they have received.
There are two Drill Color Guard teams. The first team placed 3rd then the second team placed 1st.
Next the Armed Drill Team placed 6th. The Unarmed Drill Team placed 5th. Then Unarmed Commander placed 4th.
Collin Roberts placed 4th for Singles Armed Exhibition.
Connor Hogan and Dawson Young placed 2nd with their Armed Dual Exhibition routine. They are first within the league.
Austin Epperly placed 5th for Sporter Single in Air Rifle.
