CTEC pitches programs to sophomores

On December 11, CTEC principal, Mrs. Rhonda Rhodes, came to McNary to present to the sophomore class, along with some intrigued juniors, information about the Salem-Keizer CTEC program. During second period, the school released sophomores to gather in the auditorium to get information about the career and technical vocational education program.
Rhodes introduced herself to the students and announced her reason for her arrival was to inform the students about their opportunities for CTEC (Career and Technical Education Center).
During her presentation she described the classes that they offer which include: agricultural science, autobody and repair, business development and leadership, culinary arts, cosmetology, law enforcement, and many others.
Sophomores and juniors can expect to visit their building on December 17.
