Future Business Leaders of America is holding a meeting after school today in room 216. We will be discussing leadership roles for the 2017-2018 school year and surveying members on their experience this year. We encourage all former, current and potentially new members to attend. Come Hungry!
There’s a new club here at McNary. It’s called ‘The Comedy Club’. If you want to have a few laughs, or even do some of your own routines of stand-up, improv, or even sketch, feel free to come down and try them out. The first day is Thursday 27th, in Mr Grice’s room 208 from 2:30
McNary Future Business Leaders of America went and competed at the State Business Leadership Conference in Portland last weekend. Wordslam is coming up next week – April 20th will be a night of spoken word performances of original Poems, Stories, Raps and more by students and staff from McNary High. If you would like to perform at the event just show up prepared to share your work with the audience, we are encouraging students

The Salem Keizer School District will once again offer a variety of Career and Technical Ed camps to High school and Middle school students this summer. Camps will run June through August at a variety of location around the district. Students can explore Digital Filmmaking, Manufacturing, Automotive Technologies and Emergency Services through hands on experiences

The Swim Team fought hard against South Salem Last night, we weren’t able to get the win but, we did have good performances(first place) from Sarah Eckert and Harrison Vaughn in the 500 Freestyle. The team is looking strong heading into the final weeks before district. Also, Congratulations to Jake Wyer for signing to swim
If you are looking to start a new club at McNary make sure you fill out the New Club Application form. This form needs to be filled out by January 23 to include your club in the new posters.
Every Tuesday the First Nations Club will be meeting in Mr. Gloden’s classroom 136. From around 2:30 to 3:30. Our first meeting is Tuesday on the 11th. Any students whether native or not can come.
