A huge congratulations to Mrs. Bell and the Wind Ensemble for taking 4th this weekend at the OSAA State Music Competition! Only 2 SK bands placed in the top 5, way to go Wind Ensemble! Here’s a link to their Facebook announcement!
Our Color Guard team went to Florida over the weekend to compete in the National High School drill meet. They placed 8th in the nation so congratulate them when you get the chance. Also a big thank you to Mr. Layton who created a quick poster board for us to display while we were competing.
Seniors and all students! If you need to request your final transcript please do so AFTER JUNE 1ST – Requests made before this date will not include your semester 2 credits. The school’s first Neon Dance is this Friday, from 7-10 PM in the upstairs gym. Only McNary students can attend. Students from other schools cannot attend. The Salem-Keizer School District participates in a bus poster contest that Cherriots holds each year. There is a different slogan and different requirements for entering each year. This year the slogan you were expected to build your poster around was “Oh, The Places You Will Go”. There were 500-600 entries and they gave out 12
