We knit or crochet items to give, donate, or use personally. In Knitting club, members will learn to knit or crochet if they don’t know how already or will learn new advanced stitches. Anyone can join any time.
Knitting (and crochet) is good for your health!
• It makes you feel good to make beautiful things for others.
• Using both hands at once stimulates a whole host of brain functions. The bilateral movement of knitting (and crocheting) fires neurons all over your brain. This reduces depression and the onset of dementia.
• Knitting helps keep your mind off of stressful thoughts and reduces anxiety.
